Mpact Insulated Starters
Mpact insulated starters are the latest addition to CopperLogic’s broad line of pre-engineered solutions that put an enclosed starter in your hands fast!
These sturdy, uncomplicated starters are economical, but built to last. Every component is selected from Moeller’s world-class control line, all housed in an IP65 (NEMA 4X) enclosure. In most cases, Mpact starters are available from stock for next day delivery.
:: Six Horsepower Ratings to 25HP
Six different horsepower ratings (single and three phase) are available with the Mpact series, ranging from 5 to 25 HP units (@ 575V). This allows you to closely match the contactor to the demands of your application.
:: Heavy Duty NEMA 4X Enclosure
Each Mpact starter is pre-wired in a heavy-duty, polycarbonate enclosure rated to NEMA 4X (IP65). This is also equivalent to NEMA 1, 12, 13, 3R and 4 environmental protection!
:: Easy Installation and Troubleshooting
Each starter is equipped with a telescopic base-mount for the pilot device contact blocks. This eliminates all wiring between the cover and starter base, making commissioning and troubleshooting a snap.
:: Features DIL M Contactors and Class 10 ZB(E) Relay
Every Mpact starter includes a Moeller DIL M contactor (select 5 to 25 HP) along with a ZB(E) thermal overload relay. Fourteen ZB(E) sizes are available, providing adjustable settings for 0.1 to 32 full load amps. And, every relay in this range is a Class 10 device, providing superior protection against overloads and extended motor life.
:: Multiple Control Options
Standard starters feature START/STOP double pushbuttons and a RESET selected from our rugged Titan pilot device line. Other control options include OFF/ON or HAND/0/AUTO selector switches, with or without pilot light. Engraved legend plates come standard with all selector switch options.
:: Small Footprint
Because of its direct mount design, the ZB(E) relay and resulting starter command a very small footprint. Mpact 5 HP starters are only six inches high; 20 HP starters are only eight inches high; and 25 HP starters are less than ten inches high.
