CopperLogic’s cPRO line offers superior short circuit protection in a number of configurations from 15 to 400 amperes. Our ready-made F-series thermal-magnetic breakers are ideal for most industrial applications, while cPRO K-series breakers offer an array of operating characteristics with interchangeable trip modules in both thermal-mag and electronic versions. Both lines include molded case switches for applications to 225 amps. F and K-series breakers share an array of common features that increase safety and protection regardless of your application. Both series meet NEMA design standards for use in 600V distribution systems.
cPRO breakers offer protection of cable and exceed the requirements of the NEC for branch circuit protection and UL 1087 for use as a disconnecting means. Reverse loop contact design provides for current limiting performance and higher interrupting ratings within compact breaker sizes.
Arc flashes take only milliseconds to compromise expensive equipment and create an extremely dangerous environment for personnel. CopperLogic cPRO molded case breakers significantly outperform the calculations listed in IEEE Standard 1584-2002, Guide for Performing Arc Flash Hazard Calculations.
F and K-series breakers are available in high, medium and low breaking
capacities for total application flexibility.
All breakers are manufactured to accept compression lugs, however line
and load side box terminals are pre-installed and come standard with every F-series breaker. If desired, you can also choose line side only or load side only box terminals (or none) by special order. Multi-wire connectors are also available that allow you to distribute the load from the breaker to multiple devices without the use of separate distribution terminal blocks. In addition, a control wire terminal kit can be used to tap off the main power terminal, which can eliminate the need for additional panel wiring.
CopperLogic breakers offer optional viewing windows in the breaker frame that allow you to see the position of the main power contacts in toggle operated applications. This is a requirement in the mining industry and certain utilities. If a pole is welded closed, one glance at the window can prevent serious injury. In addition, accessories such as terminal shields and end covers provide touch-safe protection.
